Minor power associated with doors and portals.
His representation is a human, whose head is turned to display two separate faces in profile, one a bearded man of middle age, the other an androgynous youth. One or other face is usually veiled. Ian usually carries a long thin walking stick, shod in iron on both ends. His symbol is a stone archway with a double-gate, either open, closed, or (rarely, one side shut with the other somewhat more than half open).
Ian is associated with beginnings and endings, and also travel in all its myriad modes. Almost every gate into a town will include a small shrine to him in the passage, including Eldarhaven’s Dragon Gate. The more superstitious will make a point of touching his symbol when setting out on any long journey, and again at their arrival.
