A close copy of the Villa Ferra in terms of size and layout with a few differences: the main gates are worked in copper with a heavy coat of verdigris; and the eastern wall has added along its entire length an elevated wooden walkway and stairs, which provides a view over the wall into yet another villa grounds to the east. A nine meter high watch tower surmounts the south east corner, and connects to the walkway and the eastern stockade. The grounds are remarkably green and tidy, perhaps because the villa is one of two common grazing areas with the walls. As such a small number of cows and goats are usually found there. For decades there have been discussions of turning one of the out buildings into a common stable area, but no real action.
